Cast : Manju Warrier , Indrajith , Kunchacko Boban,Prem Prakash,Kadhal Sandhya.
Direction : Rajesh Pillai.
Plot : Actress Uma ( Sanusha) has been kidnapped . Investigation reports suggest that Melwin (Kunchacko) is behind the act , after which he is nabbed . Upon interrogation by Sreebala IPS (Manju warrier ) and Xilex (Indrajith),Melwin reveals that Uma has been murdered .
My view : I decided to watch Vettah because of the tag of a psychological thriller that was attached to it .But unfortunately , Vettah lacks the thrills of a psychological thriller . The plot is the weakling here though it has been centred around a true incident . IMHO*, it could have been better . There is a missing link which I didn’t understand ,head or tail about . Manju Warrier sizzles as Bala. Kunchacko is different as the man who plays mind games .i don’t find anything else about vettah that is worth mentioning here .
Quotes that caught me :
We don’t choose life , life chooses us.
Rajesh Pillai , the director of vettah , passed away a day after the movies release due to non alcoholic liver cirrhosis .
Shan Johnson , one of the lyricist , passed away a few days before the movies release .
